The launch of Novaro Technical Resourcing marks a deeply personal milestone for founder Aaron Hodson, whose career journey and life experiences have shaped the company’s mission and values.
With a young family, Aaron’s motivation to build a better future has always been at the heart of his ambition. But it was a life‑altering stroke at just 34 years old — a moment that challenged him physically, mentally, and emotionally — that ultimately pushed him to take control of his future. After overcoming the toughest chapter of his life, Aaron made the decision to “grab life by the reins” and pursue his long‑held goal of running his own business.
From Parts Washer to Senior Leader: A Career Built on Determination
Aaron’s engineering journey began humbly when applying for a job as a parts washer for a pump and valve production company. His enthusiasm, work ethic, and determination quickly propelled him forward. Over the years, he progressed into senior leadership roles across the gas & oil and hydraulics industries, completing an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and Production along the way.
His next chapter took him into precision manufacturing, where he became a fully skilled CNC milling programmer, mastering both offline and manual programming. His technical capability and leadership qualities earned him promotion to shopfloor lead hand.
Aaron then transitioned into the aerospace sector, joining a company responsible for producing air‑to‑air refuelling pods for the British, French, and Spanish military. Here, he advanced rapidly, becoming Senior Shop Floor Supervisor and expanding his qualifications with certifications in Leadership of People, Operations Management, Project Management, and Health & Safety (IOSH Registered & NEBOSH Certified).

After two decades of working within highly regulated, technically demanding environments, Aaron experienced first‑hand the challenges companies face when trying to hire skilled talent — whether through in‑house teams or external agencies. He saw the disconnect, the inefficiencies, and the frustration on both sides.
